Director Of Influencer Marketing

Superpower-Inc, San Francisco, CA, United States

Salary min: $10,000.00

Salary max: $100,000.00

Influencer Operator

We're looking for a world-class influencer operator to build influencer into Superpower's best acquisition channel. You run influencer like a paid media channel — with the rigor, scripting, and performance tracking that turns creators into a scalable growth engine.
You'll own the full creator ladder — from 10K micro-influencers to multi-million-follower category leaders — plus scripting, whitelisting, contracts, and the performance dashboard that proves the channel works.
About the Role

You'll own influencer marketing end-to-end from day one. You'll inherit a starting bench of creator relationships, a team that already knows how to script direct-response, and a massive untapped opportunity: every Huberman listener, every Levels affiliate is a Superpower customer in waiting.
This is a player-coach role. Everyone at Superpower is an IC, including leadership — you'll set channel strategy and execute deal-by-deal.
Key Responsibilities

Creator Ladder:

Build the full ladder by end of year one — ~10–15 macro (1M+ followers), 30–40 mid-tier (100K–1M), 50+ micros (10K–100K); source across health, longevity, fitness, biohacking, fertility, women's health, and mental performance; lock in exclusive deals with the 10–15 most aligned creators in the category

Deal Structure:

Move every deal to a hybrid model (performance + base, whitelisting rights baked in); reserve flat-fee deals for true brand-tier creators only; negotiate against creator agents, lawyers, and managers

Direct-Response Scripting:

Partner with creative strategy to write hook-driven, persona-targeted scripts; build the script playbook — what hooks, formats, and angles actually convert

Whitelisting Program:

Ensure every creator deal includes paid usage rights; partner with the Director of Media to repurpose creator content as paid ads on Meta and YouTube

Performance Tracking:

Own CAC by creator, content type, and audience segment; build the monthly creator P&L run quarterly retention analysis on creator-acquired customers

Team Leadership:

Build and hire the influencer team — influencer manager, partnerships coordinator, and contract ops — as the program scales

Qualifications

Experience:
5+ years in influencer marketing, with at least 2 leading the function at a DTC brand spending $1M+/year on creators

Personally sourced and closed deals across the full ladder — micros, mid-tier, and at least one 1M+ macro deal

Run a whitelisting program at scale

Skills:
Write direct-response scripts that perform — not briefs creators reinterpret

Read a creator's audience and predict their CAC within 25%

Negotiated contracts with creator agents and pushed back on industry-default terms

Mindset:
Bias toward DMing creators, not building decks about DMing creators

Comfortable with a high outreach rejection rate
