Baseball Director - Summer Camp (NY)

Overview
Camp Chipinaw is a traditional co‑educational residential summer camp located in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The camp seeks a Baseball and Softball Director to lead the program during the 2026 summer season.

Responsibilities

Oversee the baseball and softball programs, managing 2‑3 staff members.

Teach 6‑50 minute lessons daily, developing lesson plans, drills, and games.

Maintain fields, umpire games, and organize baseball tournaments.

Support overall camp life and contribute to a positive camp experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of coaching experience in baseball/softball.

Experience running a program or team and overseeing staff.

Former high‑school or college player preferred.

Strong communication and teaching skills.

Salary & Benefits
Seasonal stipend of $4,000‑$5,000 plus room and board, meals, and a travel stipend.

Location & Schedule
June 19 – August 16, 2026; Swan Lake, New York.
