We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee the operations of our cold food manufacturing facility. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality cold food products to meet customer demands. The hours for this position are 1 pm to 10 pm Responsibilities: • Supervise Production Operations: Lead and direct a team of production workers, including line operators, machine operators, and work closely with quality control and maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards. • Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production planners to create and implement production schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet production targets. • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, product specifications, and customer requirements. • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and maximize productivity. • Training and Development: Train and develop production staff on proper operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce. • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform routine maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality. • Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation, and provide regular reports on production metrics to management. Qualifications: • Demonstrable leadership experience. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and food safety regulations. • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities. • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to production and inventory management. Compensation: $58,000 - $60,000 yearly
