Role Overview
The Partner Manager supports the development and execution of strategic partnerships to build the Partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Partner Lead, this role operationalizes the partnership strategy, enables joint go‑to‑market initiatives, evaluates partners, and drives pipeline growth through collaboration with internal sales, solutions, and delivery teams. Additionally, the Partner Manager contributes to client delivery and ensures partner capabilities are integrated into client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the internal and external business value of partnerships in the current and emerging sectors.
- Assess and evaluate potential partners in coordination with internal stakeholders; document assessments and decisions.
- Research and analyze internal demand for partners, identifying gaps across the BV Infrastructure Advisory portfolio.
- Develop high‑level business cases for partnerships.
- Conduct outreach and direct interviews of potential partners, their leaders and staff.
- Coordinate partner set‑up, onboarding, and maintenance processes.
- Track partner performance, reporting and evaluation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external meetings with potential partners and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and transition established databases, processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Document regular meetings and communications with internal teams and external partners.
- Identify and utilize appropriate databases to source company information and develop technical knowledge of internal tools.
- Compile internal information (engagement history, contract arrangements, etc.) on current and prospective partners.
- Coordinate partnership agreements and collaborate with Corporate Legal Departments.
- Participate in account planning and joint strategy with internal stakeholders and partners.
- Support execution of joint go‑to‑market initiatives, conferences, campaigns, and thought‑leadership activities.
- Enable internal teams on partner capabilities, solutions, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with sales teams and partners to support deal pursuits and proposals.
- Coordinate with market and solution leaders to develop joint offerings and industry solutions.
- Support development of accelerators, solution assets, and demos leveraging partner technologies.
- Participate in training on key partner solutions.
- Participate in delivery of client projects involving partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of business partnering, contracting, teaming, and joint ventures.
- 3+ years experience in Electric and Gas Utilities, Oil and Gas, Water, Data Center, or Industrial Facilities.
- Experience working with Corporate Legal Departments on NDAs, teaming agreements, MSAs, JV agreements.
- Experience acquiring new capabilities through strategic partnerships or acquisitions.
- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as EAM, ADMS, AMI, Edge Computing, Cloud, Data, or AI solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- 7+ years experience in a business or technology consulting environment.
- Core consulting experience and skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally internally and with partner teams.
- Completion of pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screen, motor vehicle records) as applicable.
Travel
Up to 50% travel expected.
