Public Relations Specialist

We’re seeking a driven and creative Public Relations (PR) Specialist to elevate our brand in the world of architectural surfaces, luxury interiors, and natural stone and tile design.

In this role, you’ll craft and execute strategic PR initiatives that showcase our craftsmanship, design leadership, and project impact across both traditional media and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities


Media Relations & Brand Storytelling

  • Write and distribute press releases, product announcements, and editorial pitches tailored to design, lifestyle, and trade media
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and publications in the design, architecture, and construction space
  • Coordinate media tours, showroom visits, and interviews with company leadership and design collaborators
  • Secure coverage in key print and broadcast outlets such as interior design magazines, trade journals, and architecture platforms
  • Maintain a comprehensive media archive and track earned media impact


Strategic Communication & Messaging

  • Develop PR strategies that align with our brand voice, aesthetic, and business goals
  • Support executive visibility through speaking engagements, interviews, and curated press opportunities
  • Manage communication responses in sensitive situations to protect brand integrity


Digital PR & Influencer Collaboration

  • Partner with interior designers, architects, and influencers for content collaborations and product features
  • Build connections with digital design platforms, blogs, and online magazines
  • Craft SEO-conscious content that supports both search visibility and brand storytelling
  • Develop and lead digital campaigns that bring our products and projects to life online


Reputation Monitoring & Crisis Management

  • Monitor brand mentions across digital and social media platforms
  • Use tools like Google Alerts, Brandwatch, or Meltwater to track sentiment and conversation trends
  • Address potential reputational issues proactively and respond to emerging concerns


Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze media performance data to measure campaign effectiveness, sentiment, and reach
  • Report insights and PR ROI to leadership teams


Agency & Partner Coordination

  • Collaborate with PR and marketing agencies, photographers, and industry partners
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and design


Content & Asset Development

  • Develop press kits, FAQs, project spotlights, and brand stories for media use
  • Write engaging content for web, email campaigns, and blog features aligned with our brand tone


Event Activation & Industry Presence

  • Plan and execute PR components of trade shows, showroom launches, and industry events (e.g., Coverings, ICFF, KBIS)
  • Manage press attendance, post-event follow-up, and visibility strategies
  • QualificationsBachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3+ years of PR experience, MUST in design, architecture, or high-end materials
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and media pitching skills
  • Experience with PR analytics and media monitoring tools
  • A strong network in the design and interiors community is a plus
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple initiatives
