Audio Technician (Weekend Services)

We’re looking for a reliable audio technician to own and manage live sound for our weekend church services. This is a steady, part-time role for someone who’s comfortable running live audio and takes pride in doing it well week after week.

The environment is consistent, organized, and repeatable (not overly complex), but it does require focus, good judgment, and the ability to make adjustments in real time throughout the entire service (not a set-and-forget role).

System
Digital iPad-based mixer (QSC TouchMix-30 Pro)
~3-8 inputs typical

Schedule
Saturdays: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Sundays: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
~10 additional services per year (holidays, etc.), paid at the same rate

Responsibilities
Own and run live audio using an iPad-based mixing system
Lead soundchecks for vocals, instruments, and speakers
Monitor and adjust levels throughout the service
Handle feedback and troubleshoot minor issues
Ensure all inputs are working properly
Simple, repeatable setup and teardown

What We’re Looking For
Experience with live audio (church, events, bands, etc.)
Familiarity with digital mixers or willingness to learn quickly
Consistent, punctual, and attentive
Someone who communicates clearly and works well with others
Able to stay engaged and actively listen throughout a live service
