Southern-Style Apparel and Accessories Designer

GRACE+EMMA, Carrollton, TX, United States

GRACE+EMMA Designer

We’re looking for a designer to join our team.

You’ll be working on

apparel, gifts, and accessories , with a big focus on

custom projects —especially in the western space. A lot of what we do is bringing ideas to life for our retail partners, so you’ll be designing both for clients and for our own in-house collections.
You’ll be working directly with us (the owners) and our Head of Design, so this isn’t one of those roles where things get filtered through five people before anything happens.

What you’ll be doing

Designing graphics and product concepts across apparel + accessories
Working on custom client projects (a lot of western-inspired work)
Going back and forth with clients to dial in their designs
Creating original in-house designs for upcoming drops
Juggling multiple projects at once and keeping things moving

A quick heads up on the kind of environment this is

This is not a corporate design job.
We move fast. Things change. You’ll probably touch more areas than just “design.” Some days are smooth, some days are a little chaotic.
If you like clear lanes, slow timelines, and a lot of structure, this probably won’t be a fit.
If you like being in the mix, having a say, and actually seeing your work out in the world pretty quickly, you’ll probably enjoy it here.

What matters to us

You have a strong eye for design (especially for boutique / western aesthetics)
You can take an idea and run with it without needing a ton of hand-holding
You’re comfortable talking through ideas with clients
You can stay organized even when there’s a lot going on

What we really care about

Honestly— creativity, hustle, and personality .
We want someone who enjoys the work, brings ideas to the table, and adds energy to the team.

How to apply

Send over your portfolio and a quick note about yourself.
We’re not looking for perfect; we’re looking for someone who wants to jump in and build something with us.
If you want, I can push this slightly more “high-end fashion creative” or more “scrappy boutique energy” depending on who you’re trying to attract.
