The Just Brand has strong products, strong retail stores, and a growing wholesale business — but we are currently underpowered in marketing.
We are not looking for someone to “set strategy.”
We are looking for someone to
own execution and help us build a consistent marketing engine.
This role exists to:
Create and manage high-quality content
Support and improve our email marketing program
Bring consistency and responsiveness to our marketing channels
Help us operate like a real, disciplined brand — not sporadic posting
2. What You’ll Actually Do
This is a
hands-on, execution-heavy role .
Content Creation & Photoshoots (Core Priority)
Plan and coordinate seasonal photoshoots (quarterly or as needed)
Source models, locations, and logistics
Work directly with our Creative Director to execute shoots
Ensure we always have fresh, usable content
You are the
operator behind content , not the photographer or designer.
Social Media Management (Primary Channel: Instagram)
Manage and post across:
Just Brand
Just Mystic
Just Portsmouth
Maintain a consistent posting cadence (posts, stories, reels)
Respond to DMs and engage with customers
Turn photoshoot content into ongoing social content
Email Marketing (Highest ROI Channel)
Work directly with our email marketing partner
Provide content, images, and campaign inputsHelp align emails with:
Product drops
Retail moments
Seasonal timing
Ensure consistency and quality of outgoing campaigns
Light Channel Expansion (Secondary)
Assist with:
LinkedIn posts (company credibility)
Pinterest (content distribution)
Help test new channels over time (not a priority initially)
3. What This Role Is (and Isn’t)
This role is:
Highly execution-focused
Detail-oriented and operational
Fast-moving and hands-on
Closely tied to real business outcomes
This role is NOT:
A high-level “brand strategist”
Purely creative without operational ownership
Detached from the day-to-day business
4. What Success Looks Like
First 60–90 Days:
Consistent posting across social channels
First photoshoot planned and executed
Email campaigns feel more cohesive and on-brand
Clear improvement in marketing organization
3–6 Months:
Reliable content pipeline (no scrambling for assets)
Strong coordination between content, email, and retail moments
Social presence feels active, current, and intentional
Marketing supports revenue (not just activity)
5. Who This Is a Fit For
This role is ideal for someone who:
Is early in their career (recent grad or 0–2 years experience)
Wants real ownership and responsibility quickly
Is both
creative and organized
Is comfortable figuring things out without perfect structure
Cares about aesthetics, brand, and details
Bonus if you:
Have experience running Instagram accounts
Have helped coordinate shoots or create content
Understand basic email marketing tools or workflows
6. Structure & Growth
Starting as an hourly role
Opportunity to grow into a full-time position
Potential to expand into broader marketing ownership over time
7. Compensation & Time Commitment
This is an hourly role, expected to start around 15–25 hours per week.
To start, compensation is expected to be in the range of $20-21/hour, depending on experience and fit.
Hours may flex slightly based on photoshoots, seasonal needs, and workload
