About the Role: Cumberland Farms is seeking a Social Media, Content Creator to lead and execute a performance-driven social media strategy that drives engagement, store traffic, and measurable business outcomes. This creator-led hands-on role combines creative execution with data-drive optimization to scale how our beloved brand shows up in culture.
Who You Are: We're looking for a self-starter who is both a creator and a strategist, someone who can think big, move quickly, and execute with excellence. The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social media, understands what resonates with audiences, and is excited by the opportunity to build and evolve a brand's presence and online community from the ground up.
What You'll Do: In this role, you will own end-to-end creation and storytelling behind our day-to-day social presence. You'll be responsible for concepting, capturing, editing, and starring in content, as well as engaging with our community, influencer and creator partners, and identify opportunities to participate in timely trends and opportunities to grow the brand's presence online. You'll collaborate closely with a small internal team and work directly with brand leadership to bring campaigns, real-time moments, and always-on content to life. You'll also help track performance and continuously optimize our approach.
The Ideal Candidate: You are equally comfortable behind the camera and in front of it—able to capture authentic, in-store moments while also representing the brand on social. You're scrappy, proactive, and excited to wear multiple hats in a "jack-of-all-trades" environment. Most importantly, you take ownership, move with urgency, and are energized by the opportunity to build something impactful from the ground up.

Working Relationships: Collaborate closely with growth, digital, brand, PR, communications, merchandising, FP&A, fuel, store operations, and other support divisions.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business or the Arts
Preferred Education: Master's in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business or the Arts
Minimum Experience: 2-4 years' years' experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, content and production, brand, experiential or field marketing with a track record of executing social content & campaigns.
Preferred Experience:
4+ years specifically with experience in social media for an in-house brand or agency.
Experience with copywriting, photography, video shooting, design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Experience posting natively onto TikTok, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat, facebook; social listening; 1:1 communication with customers & brands
Experience with Hootsuite, native social channel reporting, and Excel – you can build simple AND comprehensive social reports
Experience working with a retail or CPG brand (bonus, but not required)

Travel: Weekly/bi-weekly local travel to Cumberland Farms stores and studio. Occasional travel to out-of-state stores, events or opportunities.
Hours & Conditions: Typically Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days, 4 days per week in office with opportunity for 1 flex day from home per week contingent on job performance/business needs.
Physical Requirements: Minimal physical effort required; sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver and lift up to 10 lbs.

Consistent with Massachusetts Pay Transparency Law, we're sharing the base salary range for this position. Final pay within this range will be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications. Base pay represents just one part of our total rewards approach.
