Roles and Responsibilities

Gather requirements from the business and provide the best suitable solution based on technical expertise.
Migrate the legacy web application/portal into digital marketing websites/portal using Sitecore CMS, MVC, and latest UI technologies like AngularJS.
Enhance features / fix bugs in an existing application according to business need and simplify the user experience.
Create Sitecore components and view renderings for the websites.
Responsible for upgrading Sitecore CMS to the latest version (9.1).
Write unit test cases, perform deployment activities, smoke testing, and post‑production support.
Involved in server maintenance activities and responsible for ensuring system availability (uptime).
Prepare the strategy of migrating Medica’s website/portal from on‑prem to Azure hosting environment.
Create new user accounts and roles in the Sitecore website when required.
Integrate/consume data from external or third‑party applications via web services or RSS feed consumption.
Build single‑page applications and landing pages for promotions whenever business requires.
