Dynamic, creative, and organized team member needed to serve as Communications Specialist supporting internal and external communications that strengthen relationships with employees, donors, partners, and the community. This role is responsible for creating content, managing communication channels, supporting events and fundraising efforts, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Full-time position, 40 hours/wk., $22.50/hour
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with social media, email marketing, and digital communication tools
Strong proofreading, editing, and attention to detail
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff, leadership, and external partners
Preferred:
Experience in nonprofit communications, marketing, or community outreach
Experience with newsletters, websites, and social media campaigns
Experience supporting fundraising campaigns, donor communications, or events
Basic graphic design, photography, or content creation experience
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of good driving experience and ability to meet driver eligibility criteria
