Jr. Brand Designer

The primary focus of the Jr. Brand Designer is to support the marketing team in creating visually appealing and engaging designs that effectively communicate a message or brand identity. This role assists in creating compelling designs across digital and print platforms, including social media, presentations, website graphics, email campaigns, and marketing collateral. Working closely with marketing, communications, and leadership teams, the Junior Brand Designer ensures brand consistency while contributing fresh, creative ideas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working alongside the Design Manager in the Revenue Ops team to create visual concepts and designs for both brands, FAIC and Focus Auto Insurance.
Understand design briefs and create visual elements such as icons, illustrations, typography, and imagery for various media such as social media, email, and print media.
Building day-to-day brand collateral like templates, social media content for Focus.
Creating various design elements, such as logos, illustrations, and layouts, using
software programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for web product pages.
Help build and maintain asset libraries for focus and the FAIC brand.
Participating in brainstorming and ideation sessions to develop new design concepts for paid media campaigns for focus (Q3-Q4).
Reviewing and proofreading designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software tools to continually
improve design skills.
Building stellar decks to present design ideas and overall brand progress.
Managing Project expectations for Focus Brand.
Communicating with team members to understand project requirements and goals.
Presenting design concepts and ideas to clients or team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years of work experience, a relevant degree in Graphic design, Digital communications, or other relevant work experience is required.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of design aesthetics and a solid understanding of design principles, such as color theory, typography, composition, and layout.
Presentation Design tools- Keynote and MS PowerPoint required
Software proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite- Adobe Illustrator, Adobe
Express, Photoshop, After Effects, and Canva are required
Figma is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills required to work closely with other managers
and stakeholders within the department
Willingness to learn new design disciplines and a proactive nature is highly desired
