Job Summary

To support us in this high‑priority function, we are looking for a talented and experienced professional to be based in our Singapore HQ to take on the role of:

Responsibilities

Prepare and verify a full set of shipping documents in compliance with Letters of Credit and contractual requirements to ensure timely negotiation and shipment processing

Manage and coordinate shipments by bulk vessels to meet operational and contractual deadlines

Collaborate closely with the Team Head, Traders, Origination desks, and Shipping desk to align shipping operations with business objectives

Supervise and coordinate daily operations activities to maintain efficiency and compliance

Provide leadership and hands‑on guidance to the team in executing high‑risk, large‑value contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and contract adherence

Required competencies and certifications

Demonstrated intensive experience applying ICC rules for Letters of Credit to manage international trade transactions effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Minimum GCE ‘A’ level or Diploma in International Trade in Import & Export or related field

4 to 6 years of experience in an Agri‑Business or Trading Company, preferably dealing with soft commodities

Proficient communication skills to facilitate clear and effective stakeholder engagement

Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel to support documentation and reporting tasks

Knowledge of GAFTA and FOSFA trade associations to enhance contract and trade compliance

Understanding of Incoterms and international trade principles to support shipping and contractual processes

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical thinking, and independent problem‑solving abilities
