THE ROLE

Reporting to the Global Head of Creative Services and the Global Head of Creative Operations, the Creative Operations Manager - Americas is responsible for overseeing day-to-day project traffic, team scheduling, and creative workflow for the New York studio.

This role ensures efficient resource allocation, clear prioritisation, and consistent delivery across a high-volume, fast-paced creative environment. In close partnership with the Head of Creative Operations, Americas, the role also contributes to strategic resource planning and operational reporting across the region.

The ideal candidate is highly organised, solutions-oriented, and comfortable stepping into an active workflow with minimal ramp-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Operations & Workflow
Oversee end-to-end project workflow across multiple touchpoints, including business development, brand initiatives, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns
Lead resource allocation and team assignments, balancing workload in line with sales calendars and project priorities
Maintain and evolve trafficking processes to ensure efficient studio workflow and on-time delivery
Partner with Global Head of Creative Operations on project allocation and rollout of new processes and tools
Monitor project health and flag risks or resourcing gaps proactively
Team & Stakeholder Management

Manage the day-to-day operations of the New York Creative Studio, supporting team performance and delivery
Facilitate weekly resourcing and progress meetings to resolve scheduling conflicts and maintain global alignment
Manage internal stakeholder expectations around timelines, capacity, and deliverables
Act as key liaison between Creative, Marketing, Business Development, and Production teams
Support onboarding of freelancers and short-term resources as required
Budget & Resource Planning

Oversee NY studio freelance spend and resource forecasting
Manage supplier relationships where relevant, particularly around catalogue production and quality control
Provide monthly and annual reporting to track utilisation, capacity, and forecast global resource needs
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Operational Excellence

Support marketing and business teams with workflow improvements and operational guidance
Ensure strong file management, version control, and workflow discipline across the studio
Maintain visibility across peak sales moments and proactively plan resourcing accordingly
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
Significant experience in creative operations, studio management, or project/traffic management within a fast-paced creative environment
Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
Calm and solutions-oriented under pressure and tight timelines
Experience working with creative, marketing, and production teams in a luxury, cultural, or agency environment preferred
In-depth knowledge of print and digital production workflows
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms (Adobe Workfront preferred)
Experience managing freelance resources and external vendors

The proposed base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 prorated to the length of employment. In addition to base salary successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus, as well as a competitive benefits package. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
