Penta Search Group is continuing to expand its presence across North America, and we are looking to add an experienced Executive Search Consultant to our team, focused on the Chemicals, Oil & Gas sectors across both the United States and Canada.

This is an opportunity to join a growing, high-performing search firm with an established client base across large enterprise organisations and emerging, high-growth businesses.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering executive search mandates across senior leadership and specialist hires within the Chemicals and Oil & Gas markets. You will work closely with existing clients while also playing a key role in driving new business and expanding our footprint across North America.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver retained and contingent search assignments across senior and specialist hires
Own and manage the full search lifecycle from briefing through to placement
Build deep, long-term relationships with clients and candidates within the Chemicals and Oil & Gas markets

Business Development Focus:
Identify and win new search mandates through proactive outreach, networking, and market mapping
Develop and execute sector-specific BD strategies across Chemicals and Oil & Gas verticals
Build a personal client portfolio across both enterprise and high-growth organisations
Expand existing client relationships by identifying additional hiring needs and cross-selling search and contract solutions
Generate and convert leads through thought leadership, market insight, and industry engagement
Leverage existing network to open new client relationships and reactivate dormant accounts
Partner with internal teams to develop strategic account plans for key clients
Contribute to the growth of contract recruitment revenue streams alongside retained search
Represent Penta Search Group in the market through conferences, industry events, and targeted client engagement

What We’re Looking For
5–10 years’ experience within executive search
Demonstrated experience working with both large enterprise clients and emerging/growth-stage organisations
Strong track record of delivering searches within Chemicals, Oil & Gas, or closely aligned industrial sectors
Proven ability to win and develop new business in a competitive market
Commercially driven mindset with a focus on revenue generation and client growth
Ability to operate in a highly client-facing environment
Proven capability in managing the full search lifecycle
