2nd Shift Production Team Lead/Supervisor

The primary goal is to lead/supervise the activities in the department to produce quality products while achieving production goals and providing a safe work environment. This position reports food safety and quality problems to OperationsManager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Packages finished goods by hand or by operating various pieces of machinery, following customer specification, company production, and safety standards.

Mixes batches to the correct specifications per the customer.

Setup, breakdown, and clean‑up various pieces of production machinery.

Accurately records and completes various stages of the production process.

Reports to the work area on time and prepared to complete assignments.

Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to address equipment or product concerns.

Participate in shift handovers, providing updates on production progress and issues.

Performs any other tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly leads production team members during assigned shift. Provides guidance, training, performance feedback, and support to ensure operational goals are met. May provide input on performance evaluations and disciplinary actions in coordination with the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Previous food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Shift Hours

Standard hours would be 3 PM – 1:30 AM (4 days a week 10hr shifts) with potential OT as needed.
