Job Overview
The LBS Consulting Services organization comprises several different disciplines including HR, Marketing, Startup, and Real Estate consulting. Each provides a strategic advisory service to internal and external stakeholders. A Marketing Analyst is a core member of the Consulting team and plays a key role in enhancing the marketing efforts of financial advisors. This role provides strategic guidance, insights, and hands‑on support across a broad range of marketing topics, including scalable support for advisors with low complexity needs as well as helping other advisors achieve their marketing goals.

Marketing Analysts serve as a trusted resource for advisors through email support and one‑on‑one consultations, delivering actionable recommendations tailored to each advisor’s needs. In addition to high‑touch consulting, this role helps enable content‑led and AI‑assisted approaches that allow advisors to self‑serve common marketing questions efficiently.

As a skilled presenter, the Marketing Analyst delivers engaging and informative education through webinars, virtual sessions, and in‑person presentations. As part of LPL’s broader Consulting Services organization, the Marketing Analyst acts as a concierge, guiding advisors through LPL’s ecosystem and connecting them to the right tools, resources, and solutions to drive action. This role will unite strategy, experience, and innovation to enhance the end‑to‑end advisor experience.

Responsibilities

Supports financial advisors and institutions with marketing strategy, education, and execution guidance.

Serves as a subject matter resource across a wide array of marketing disciplines.

Delivers high‑impact education to both small and large audiences in virtual and in‑person environments.

Acts as a connector between advisors and LPL’s marketing tools, products, and approved third‑party resources.

Supports scalable advisor enablement models by contributing to content and learning solutions that address common, low‑complexity marketing needs.

Represents the voice of the advisor by capturing feedback and partnering with leadership on continuous improvement.

Advisor Support & Consulting

Provide an industry‑leading, best‑in‑class experience by fully addressing advisor questions and needs in a timely manner.

Deliver tailored marketing advice through one‑to‑one consultations via scheduled sessions and email support.

Support advisors across varying levels of complexity, including efficiently addressing routine or foundational marketing questions through repeatable guidance and content‑based solutions.

Act as a knowledge resource for marketing questions across branding, digital marketing, and growth strategies.

Introduce advisors to LPL’s marketing products, tools, and solutions aligned to their business goals.

Marketing Strategy & Subject Matter Expertise

Serve as an expert in LPL marketing tools, programs, and resources available to advisors and institutions.

Provide guidance on third‑party tools and resources that support advisor marketing efforts.

Support advisors across key marketing topics, including:

Branding and value proposition

Target marketing

Website strategy and design

SEO and paid advertising

Social media

Email marketing and automation

Client and prospecting events

Education, Content Strategy, & AI Enablement

Develop and deliver marketing education through webinars, workshops, and in‑person presentations.

Communicate complex marketing concepts in a clear, relatable, and actionable manner.

Encourage action by guiding advisors from education to execution.

Contribute to the development of scalable marketing content strategies, including FAQs, playbooks, and learning assets that address common advisor needs.

Partner with internal teams to leverage AI in creation, maintenance, and optimization of advisor‑facing marketing content.

Support the evolution of AI‑enabled learning capabilities that help advisors build marketing knowledge and self‑serve routine questions effectively.

Operational Excellence & Feedback Loop

Source content and information from internal LPL partners to ensure accurate and timely responses, typically within 24 hours.

Track and report key performance indicators related to advisor engagement, consultations, and education.

Gather direct advisor feedback and partner with leadership to identify and implement actionable improvements.

Provide feedback on content gaps and advisor behavior to continuously improve AI learning experiences.

Support special marketing projects and initiatives as needed.

Attend industry and LPL Financial conferences as required.

Cross Functional Partnership

Collaborate with Marketing Specialist peers, Consulting Services peers, Marketing Solutions partners, and internal stakeholders.

Partner with leadership to align advisor feedback with product, content, and service enhancements.

Collaborate with technology partners and AI enablement teams to support the rollout and adoption of new marketing content and AI learning capabilities.

Contribute to BSI initiatives focused on improving advisor experience and driving innovation across Consulting services.

Requirements

2+ years of hands‑on marketing experience

Core Competencies

Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational project management capabilities

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams

Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced evolving environment

Comfort working with or alongside AI‑enabled tools, content platforms, or learning technologies preferred

Preferences

Experience with marketing technology platforms

Familiarity with financial services compliance requirements

Video content creation and editing experience a plus

Experience in financial services preferred

Pay Range
$62,006.00 - $103,309.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
