Overview

Northwest Ordinance Distilling is part of the Sazerac Manufacturing Network. Production Technicians are responsible for operating bottling equipment, monitoring production processes, ensuring product quality, performing maintenance tasks, and maintaining cleanliness of the bottling area. Team collaboration and strong safety practices help drive the facility’s success.
Experience Techs – Earn up to $27/hr in your first 6 months, $7,200 in annual bonuses and 3 weeks PTO. There is a $2 per hour premium for team members working night shifts.
Location: Northwest Ordinance Distilling, 707 NW Ordinance Ln, New Albany, IN 47150.
Job Responsibilities

Operate bottling equipment and monitor production processes to meet quality standards and performance metrics
Perform equipment setup, lubrication, changeovers, and troubleshoot equipment issues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bottling area
Adhere to Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures and follow Standard Operating Procedures
Work in small teams to support production goals and maintain effective communication
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work on your feet, climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel and squat
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating machinery
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented with ability to perform work accurately
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work 12-hour shifts
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in high-noise environments
Ability to work in wet, humid conditions (non-weather)
Ability to work overtime if necessary
