Carry out pastoral duties(visitation rotation, weddings, funerals, and teaching/ preaching as needed)
POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate Pastor for Worship will plan, coordinate, implement, direct and evaluate all of the music ministries of the church and work to grow this ministry through creative, scriptural practices that could include, but not be limited to: choirs, ensembles, praise teams, instrumental groups, worship bands, summer music camps, seasonal and special events, etc. The person in this role will be considered a Pastor and will serve in the function of their Associate Pastor in sharing the duties and responsibilities associated with that role including areas such as sharing in the care of the congregation and, if a gift and passion of the individual, there will be teaching and preaching opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the Senior Pastor and other pastoral staff to plan and lead worship services and perform other pastoral duties as needed
Plan, coordinate, and lead worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor.
Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members, media volunteers, and staff.
Oversee choirs, ensembles, praise teams, bands, seasonal programs, and special events.
Ensure all instruments, AVL, and media equipment are maintained and upgraded as needed.
Partner with volunteers and staff to develop annual worship and media budgets.
Promote spiritual growth and team culture through rehearsals, retreats, and gatherings.
Oversee streaming, sound, and video ministries, providing both technical excellence and spiritual leadership.
