The Role:
We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing who can bring clarity to complexity and momentum to opportunity.
This is not a “plug-and-play” corporate role. You’ll be stepping into a dynamic, evolving environment where not everything is fully built yet - and that’s by design. You’ll need to balance strategy with execution, influence without authority, and create structure where it doesn’t yet exist.
You will own how our products and services show up in the market - how they’re positioned, launched, understood, and ultimately chosen by dental professionals.
Who We Are:
We are a dental education company built on the belief that better clinicians build better practices - and better lives. Our work spans immersive campus-based clinical workshops, seminars, online education, study clubs, and professional services that support dentists and their teams in delivering exceptional care.
We care deeply about quality, impact, and continuous improvement. We move fast, expect a lot, and are comfortable operating in the gray while we build what’s next.
What You’ll Do:
Make Our Offerings Make Sense (and Stand Out)
Turn complex clinical education and services into clear, compelling, benefit-driven messaging
Define positioning that differentiates us in a crowded and often commoditized education space
Build messaging frameworks that get used (not sit in a deck somewhere)
Lead Go-to-Market Without Waiting for Perfect Drive launches for new programs, curriculum updates, and service offerings - even when inputs aren’t perfect
Create alignment across Product, Marketing, Education, Customer Success and Sales teams (yes, this takes work)
Build and manage go-to-market plans that are practical, not theoretical
Be the Voice of the Customer Develop a deep understanding of dentists and their teams - what they care about, what they struggle with, and what drives action
Gather insights from faculty, customers, and internal teams and turn them into usable strategy
Push the organization to stay grounded in real customer needs
Enable the Revenue Engine Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to improve how we show up in conversations with customers
Build tools and materials that help teams communicate value clearly and confidently
Identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention, and expansion across our portfolio
Bring Order (Without Over-Engineering It) Introduce structure where it’s needed - positioning, launch processes, messaging - without slowing things down
Help prioritize what matters most across a broad and growing set of offerings
Use data to guide decisions, but don’t get stuck waiting for perfect data
What You Bring: 7–10+ years in product marketing or a similar role (healthcare, education, or professional services preferred)
A track record of launching and growing products
The ability to simplify complex ideas into messaging that resonates and converts
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building as you go
Strong cross-functional coalition building skills - you know how to align teams that think differently
A bias for action and accountability - you own outcomes, not just deliverables
You’ll Thrive Here If You… Prefer building over maintaining
Can handle direct feedback and give it just as well
Don’t need everything to be perfect before you move
Care about doing meaningful work that impacts real clinicians and patients
Are as comfortable in the details as you are in the strategy
What Success Looks Like: Our offerings are clearly understood and valued in the market
Launches happen with focus, clarity, and measurable impact
Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams feel equipped and supported
Messaging is consistent, differentiated, and put into practice
You’ve helped bring focus and momentum to a complex portfolio
What It Takes to Succeed Here:
This environment will stretch you - in good ways and frustrating ones. Success in this role requires: Grit and follow-through – You push work across the finish line, even when it’s messy, ambiguous, or requires multiple attempts
Comfort with friction – You can navigate differing opinions, strong personalities, and incomplete inputs without losing momentum
Ownership mindset – You don’t wait for perfect direction; you create clarity and move
Resilience – You can absorb feedback, recalibrate quickly, and keep going without getting derailed
Bias for action – You’d rather test, learn, and improve than over-plan
You’ll Thrive Here If You… Finish what you start—even when it gets hard or unclear
Can create structure in environments that don’t naturally provide it
Don’t take misalignment personally—but know how to work through it
Are motivated by building something meaningful, not maintaining the status quo
Take pride in figuring things out others might avoid
This position is open until 5/10/2026 or until filled.
Candidates in the Greater Phoenix Market are preferred; however, we may consider a candidate outside this candidate if they check all the boxes!
