Overview:
The Brand Manager will steward a portfolio of established regional processed-meat brands-including Field, Fischer's, Mickelberry, Kentuckian Gold, Indiana Kitchen, and Scott Pete-while supporting the full innovation pipeline from concept through commercialization. This role blends classic brand management discipline with hands-on project leadership, cross-functional orchestration, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Stewardship & Portfolio Management
Manage day-to-day health of assigned regional brands.
Monitor volume, share, distribution, and pricing performance.
Partner with Sales on execution and promotional strategy.
Collaborate with R&D on SKU rationalization and formula improvements.
Develop annual brand plans.
Innovation & Commercialization
Lead cross-functional teams through end-to-end commercialization.
Own project timelines and stage-gate readiness.
Guide packaging structure and design decisions.
Develop consumer-backed and customer-backed recommendations.
Insights, Analytics & Business Tracking
Leverage Circana, Numerator, 84.51, Scintilla data sources.
Conduct business diagnostics and post-launch reviews.
Translate insights into recommendations.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as hub of communication across teams.
Deliver internal and external presentations.
Manage agency partners as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years of CPG brand management, preferably processed meats.
Proficiency with syndicated/shopper/household data.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Experience with packaging development.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA optional.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions on the site including exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
