Role Overview

The Director of Commerce leads the day-to-day performance, execution, and operational excellence of our web and mobile app commerce channels. This role ensures flawless customer experience delivery, tight cross‑functional alignment, and operational scalability across teams. A key focus will be developing new processes with Digital Product Managers across Web and App to ensure both channels evolve cohesively and the organization can scale.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Operations

  • Oversee daily accuracy, readiness, and quality across web and app
  • Ensure flawless execution of launches, promotions, and content updates
  • Partner with Merchandising on product, pricing, and assortment accuracy
  • Align with Marketing and Creative to deliver on‑time campaign execution

Leading Web &; App Digital Product Managers

  • Provide insights on business drivers, workflows, and dependencies that inform product direction
  • Support PMs during scoping and development with channel nuances and go‑to‑market needs
  • Align on timelines and release readiness to ensure clean feature rollouts across channels
  • Partner on post‑launch analysis to understand impact and inform future improvements

Cross‑Channel Alignment &; Scaling

  • Consolidate web and app business, merchandising, and operational needs into unified plans
  • Identify scaling needs across workflows, tools, communication, and processes
  • Optimize rituals and checkpoints to keep teams operating in sync
  • Provide visibility into capacity, resourcing, and org needs as channels grow

Product Partnership &; Operational Product Management

  • Translate business and channel needs into clear inputs for Product, UX, and Engineering
  • Monitor post‑launch performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
  • Surface operational gaps, friction points, and optimization opportunities

Performance &; Optimization

  • Own and monitor channel KPIs including conversion, funnel health, AOV, app engagement, and revenue
  • Analyze weekly performance and share insights with cross‑functional partners
  • Recommend data‑backed improvements across customer experience and operations
  • Monitor journeys across web and app to identify optimization opportunities

Team Leadership &; Scaling

  • Lead and develop the Digital Commerce Product Tteam with a focus on speed, accuracy, and scalability
  • Optimize and build processes and documentation that support growing digital complexity
  • Assess evolving team needs, skill gaps, and structure as channels expand

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 8-12+ years in product management, digital commerce, eCommerce operations, and/or digital channel management
  • Experience managing high‑volume web and/or app storefronts
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort owning channel performance metrics
  • Proven partner across Merch, Marketing, Creative, Planning, CX, and Product
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce operations, CMS workflows, and digital conversion drivers
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and effective in fast‑paced environments
