Job Summary
WSMV4 in Nashville seeks a Technical Media Producer who will direct live or pre‑recorded productions, monitor on‑air signals, transmitter logs, EAS events, and ingest daily programming and commercials. The position requires directing newscasts, operating master control equipment, and supporting a variety of on‑air productions. Strong people skills and operating knowledge of computers are essential.

Responsibilities

Operate Ross Overdrive production automation & operation

Operate Nversion Master Control automation

Operate Chyron graphics

Operate robotic cameras

Maintain and care for equipment

Work closely with all other departments to meet daily demands

Adapt to breaking news and developing stories

Meet multiple deadlines and make split‑second decisions based on directives

Multitask and excel under intense deadline pressure in a rapidly changing environment

Communicate effectively and efficiently with all team members

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proficient in Windows‑based applications

Experience in television operations

Dependable, well organized, and able to multitask

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Calm under pressure and able to meet deadlines
