Mgr, Marketing Operations

Responsibilities

  • Manage the marketing operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of marketing assets and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes for the marketing operations team to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate cross‑functional teams, including Creative, Digital, and Media teams, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration in the execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance, identifying areas for optimization and making recommendations for improvements to drive ROI and business results.
  • Manage marketing project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking spend against budget to ensure cost‑effective marketing operations.
  • Follows and contributes to the development of the strategy and plan for the department.
  • Maintain and update marketing project management tools, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date information is available for all stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing strategies, providing insights and recommendations based on campaign performance and market trends.
  • Identify and implement best practices for marketing operations, staying up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing operations performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in marketing operations, project management, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in previous leadership role.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement streamlined processes for marketing operations.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, with a track record of successful team management.
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms and data analytics tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task effectively without compromising the quality of the work.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to draw conclusions and make data‑driven decisions.
