About the Role
The post holder will support the Commercial Services team in maximising revenue and future income potential from both internal and external customers through targeted business development activity, customer engagement, sales support, and focused marketing.
The role will work closely with operational and commercial colleagues to help identify new opportunities, support the development of sales pipelines, and ensure that marketing and communications activity is clearly aligned to commercial priorities and income generation.
The primary focus will be on Commercial Services, including catering, conferences, sport, retail, hospitality, events, partnerships, and cultural services.
The role holder must be proactive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. They must have demonstrable evidence in delivering professional services and solutions to a wide range of stakeholders.
They must be able to work with a range of teams, understand their requirements, and demonstrate they are a team player who is willing to help and committed to exceeding customer expectations.

Welsh Language Skills
The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 – A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
