Senior Account Executive, Health

Senior Account Executive Edelman is seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our award-winning team. As an SAE, you'll collaborate with some of the most recognized brands in the world, helping them tell stories that matter through strategic communications across paid, earned, social, and owned channels.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the creation and execution of communications plans that align with healthcare and brand client goals and business objectives
Serve as a day-to-day client contact, supporting calls and correspondence with confidence and professionalism
Collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
Support and coach junior team members, helping to build their skills and contributions
Participate in media outreach and engagement efforts across traditional, digital, and social channels
Contribute to new business efforts through idea generation, research, and proposal development
Foster strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
Support a major retail brand, across different categories and offerings
Own weekly storytelling against client priorities and focus categories, i.e. sports and collectibles media, motors, etc
Draft all materials needed to support campaigns and programs
Ability to work on a fast paced team and juggle multiple and often competing priorities
Demonstrate Edelman's values through ethical and inclusive behaviors and a commitment to continuous learning
Required Qualifications:
At least two years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Superior research, writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
Experience developing communication plans and executing public relations tactics
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities with keen attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
Comfort working with medical language, clinical trial data, and regulatory/legal review processes
Experience with media outreach and understanding of integrated media strategies
Confidence in leading client-facing interactions and working with cross-functional teams
Interest in data-driven storytelling and complex areas of healthcare
Ability to mentor junior staff
Experience managing Medical, Legal and Regulatory reviews of materials using Veeva is a plus
$60,000 - $80,000 a year
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
