Role
The Relationship Manager leads a team of professional product specialists and they collectively shape solutions that will entice prospective companies to award new business to UMB. The Commercial Relationship Manager has a direct impact on the bank’s earning potential. Engaging and building relationships with Business Owners, CFOs, CEOs, Controllers, and working with existing clients, you have the ability to help clients achieve their financial dreams, streamline business processes and help them better understand their working cash flow needs.
Responsibilities
Build your own commercial loan portfolio by prospecting for new Commercial & Industrial business.
Engage and lead other team members to determine additional products and services the client might benefit from.
Collaborate with commercial clients to better understand their business and financial needs.
Analyze the client’s business to qualify them for bank products and services.
Qualifications
2 years sales experience, preferably in Commercial Bank Sales.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Curiosity about how companies operate and what drives their success.
Growth mindset, not satisfied with the status quo.
Demonstrated knowledge of credit, bank products, services, underwriting, and bank operations.
Compensation Range
$76,520.00 - $163,900.00
The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job‑related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
