Lakeside Behavioral Health System provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking to be part of a team-oriented and compassionate organization. The Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Operator/Receptionist greets guests within the hospital lobby areas and manages the facility telephone switchboard system.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience with telephone switchboard systems.

Licensure/Certification: None.

Knowledge: Excellent telephone etiquette and tact; pleasant and audible speech, with good enunciation; flexibility; ability to interact effectively with persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crisis or resistant or negative toward organization; ability to remain seated at switchboard for long periods of time without significant discomfort or distress.

Supervision Received: PBX Supervisor, NARC Manager, NARC Director.

Supervision Exercised: None.
