Community Management Intern

to join our social team! This role is ideal for someone passionate about social media, storytelling and building authentic connections with our social clients. As an intern, you will assist in managing our social platforms, fostering engagement and amplifying our client’s brand voices.
This position is a part-time, in-office (24 hours per week) internship. Community Management Interns follow the same in-office schedule as the full-time team members (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays). Applicants must reside in the DFW area and be able to commute to our office in Dallas.
Job Responsibilities

Provide daily community management for social media clients, including responding to DMs, engaging with comments and answering fan questions;
Monitor relevant daily social conversations and identify opportunities for expanded engagement;
Foster a strong and engaged community while ensuring timely and thoughtful responses;
Compile weekly reports on trending social media topics for all clients to leverage for content (Rese arch trends, hashtags, and platform updates to inform and optimize content strategies);
Collaborate with the team to highlight user-generated content (UGC) and amplify community stories;
Assist the social team with managing content calendars, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more;
Monitor and report on community engagement metrics and sentiment;
Meet deadlines and specifications for organic social materials; and,
Ensure consistency, relevancy, and accuracy across all messaging and social touchpoints.
Job Qualifications

This job requires attention to detail, being insanely organized, passionate about all things social media and creative to the core. We’re looking for someone that understands and enjoys the ever‑evolving strategy of social content;
Have a genuine passion for engaging with audiences through daily moderation of comments, managing direct messages, and responding to customer inquiries, with patience and precision;
Comfortable performing routine tasks, including moderating comments and addressing repetitive inquiries, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
Above‑average knowledge of these social media channels, in order of importance: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to fit brand voice;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Slides/Sheets/Drive, Excel and Outlook required (experience in Sprout and Canva are a plus); and,
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or rising college Senior pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related discipline; is detail‑oriented; is a team player who is comfortable working with limited supervision; has excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; is energetic, organized and self‑motivated.
