Our ideal Social Media Intern will be a creative, communicative, organized, consistent, reliable, UNDERGRADUATE student who's ready to join our winning team.
You’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience working on meaningful projects, programs, and fundraisers with guidance from the managerial staff and mentors.
Interns will support the digital media staff to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement, increase revenue and awareness.
This is a NONPAID internship that will provide assistance with building your digital marketing portfolio, along with receiving letters of recommendation, a certificate of completion, and potentially college credit.
The duties and responsibilities of a Social Media Marketing Intern include:
Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets
Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
Support marketing team with online event
Assist on influencer campaign strategy
Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
Write social media captions that speak to the company’s target audience
Help create and edit short‑form videos
Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
