About the Role
Jeff's Bagel Run is one of the fastest-growing bagel brands in the country, and we're building the team to match. As our Field Marketing Manager, you are the marketing partner our franchisees didn't know they needed. You'll work hand-in-hand with franchise owners to help them launch strong, market smart, and grow their individual locations — all while keeping them connected to the brand they signed up for.
This role is equal parts relationship builder, marketing strategist, and field operator. You'll report to the VP, Marketing and serve as the bridge between brand strategy and what actually happens at the local level. The best franchisees will see you as an extension of their team. That's the goal.
What You'll Own
Grand Opening Support
- Partner with franchisees to plan and execute grand openings — from pre-launch timelines to opening day activation
- Be the resource they rely on: vendor recommendations, community outreach, grassroots outreach, in-store setup, and beyond
- Debrief with franchisees post-opening to capture learnings and build on what worked
- Maintain and improve a repeatable grand opening playbook that makes every owner's launch smoother than the last
Local Market Development
- Work with each franchisee to build a local marketing plan tailored to their specific community and customer base
- Identify opportunities for grassroots activations, local sponsorships, sampling, and neighborhood partnerships — then help execute them
- Connect franchisees with community organizations that can amplify their location
- Help franchisees understand their market data and translate it into smarter local decisions
Franchisee Relationship & Enablement
- Be the franchisee's go-to marketing resource — responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in their success
- Build trust through consistent presence, follow-through, and real expertise they can count on
- Train and coach franchise owners and their teams on brand standards, marketing tools, and local best practices
- Surface franchisee feedback to the VP, Marketing and advocate for resources and support that help them win
Brand Consistency
- Help franchisees execute on-brand — not by policing them, but by making it easy to do it right
- Coordinate with the HQ creative team to get franchisees the assets, signage, and materials they need
- Conduct regular market visits to support franchisees, spot opportunities, and maintain brand standards
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2–4+ years of field marketing, local store marketing, or franchise marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with operators, owners, or external partners — you earn trust quickly and keep it
- Experience supporting grand openings or market launches in QSR, fast casual, or franchise
- Strong project management skills; able to support multiple franchisees and markets simultaneously without dropping the ball
- A natural collaborator and communicator — equally effective sitting across from a franchise owner and presenting to a VP
- Willingness to travel to markets regularly; some evenings and weekends required for openings and activations
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic marketing analytics tools
Preferred
- Prior experience in a franchise or multi-unit environment
- Familiarity with markets where JBR operates or is expanding
- Experience working directly with a VP or senior brand leader
- Track record of building systems and playbooks, not just executing one-offs
