Production Artist

The Production Artist supports the Creative Services team by preparing, refining, and delivering production-ready artwork for print and digital media. This role is responsible for executing layout, typesetting, asset preparation, and file organization while ensuring all deliverables meet brand, technical, and quality standards. The Production Artist collaborates closely with Art Directors and other team members to produce accurate, high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting established deadlines.

Backup Coverage
The Production Artist covers other Production Artists as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Executing typesetting and layout design
Managing and organizing design files
Collecting and preparing assets for production
Performing photo manipulation and retouching
Collaborating with Art Directors to refine concepts and produce final files
Preparing artwork for both print and digital deliverables
Demonstrating above‑average creative conceptual abilities
Maintaining strong organizational skills and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Exhibiting strong attention to detail and effective problem‑solving skills
Showing a passion for producing high‑quality design work with minimal revisions

Required Skills and Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) on Mac.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong experience with photo manipulation and retouching.
Solid understanding of CMYK color processes and print production standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
