Accountabilities
- Act as second-in-command to the Head of Operations and backfill Plant Managers as needed
- Drive financial and operational KPIs across North America
- Leverage AI, analytics, dashboards, and visual tools for insight-driven decisions
- Lead Operational Excellence initiatives utilizing Lean, Engineering, and Project Management methodologies
- Translate ambiguous challenges into actionable solutions
- Support budgeting, monthly performance reviews, and variance mitigation
- Coordinate strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions
- Influence cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive sustainable improvements
- Champion change management and culture-building aligned to a safety mindset
- Represent the company at internal and external forums
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong analytical, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and teams without direct authority
- Solid financial acumen including budgets, capex, and operational cost drivers
