The Director of Marketing will collaborate with the business teams to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally. The position will identify short‑term and long‑term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including developing and managing an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.
This role is segmented as Hybrid. You will be onsite in our corporate headquarters Rosemont, IL or West Linn OR 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) and Virtual Monday and Friday.
Responsibilities
Lead marketing projects, initiatives, strategies, and tactics that enable brand growth across all markets and channels.
Work with marketing and merchandising on developing brand and product partnerships with other brands and partners.
Work internally and externally to develop creative marketing tactics that align with brand voice to drive customer traffic and engagement.
Develop market‑entry models and analyze market entry potential along with qualitative and quantitative measures.
Lead and collaborate with stakeholders in managing PR tactics and deliverables.
Deliver insights and packaging findings into executive‑ready content.
Drive the development of CHEF'STORE growth strategy, including overseeing quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., market and competitor assessments, financial performance analysis) and leading and partnering with cross‑functional business partners.
Develop associates within span of care and support growth & development.
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post‑event reports and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing management is required, as well as experience leading others.
B2B and/or Retail marketing experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
Knowledge of how to develop client‑focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
Understanding of how to position products against competitors.
Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Ability to present in front of large groups.
Strong written and presentation skills to provide efficient training documents and presentations.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage projects and teams in both on‑site and virtual environments.
Excellent organizational skills (planning, scheduling, and budgeting).
Travel
Up to 30% travel.
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus and long‑term incentive.

The expected base rate for this role is between $115,000 - $185,000.
