Account Manager

to join our Public Affairs and Crisis practice.
The Role

Reputation Narrative Execution: Serve as the primary daily driver for 4–6 accounts, developing and executing platform‑agnostic communications plans that resonate in national newsrooms, policy circles, and digital social spaces.
Modern Storytelling & Advocacy: Coordinate earned media with digital advocacy and social‑first content to deliver cohesive, 360‑degree impact.
Daily Client Stewardship: Act as the trusted daily point person for clients ranging from corporate brands to non‑profits and high‑profile individuals, providing real‑time counsel through fast‑moving news cycles and stressful situations.
Crisis & Cultural Radar: Monitor the news cycle and social platforms daily, identifying emerging risks, vibe shifts, and trending topics that require proactive voice or strategic silence.
Content Command: Produce client‑ready materials—including executive talking points, op‑eds, press releases, and briefing notes—that frame complex issues for varied audiences with precision.
Event & Experience Support: Plan and execute media‑specific events such as press conferences, panel discussions, and stakeholder briefings, managing guest lists and on‑site media logistics.
Mentorship & Team Coaching: Mentor and teach junior staff, training the next generation of crisis professionals in modern pitching and discretion.
Relationship Driven: Lead by example in every interaction—prioritizing integrity, transparency, and professional poise with team, clients, and media.
Who You Are

The Reputation Specialist: 5–6 years of experience in public affairs, crisis, or corporate communications, with a quick and deep ability to learn new issues or industries.
The Modern Strategist: Understands integrated communications mechanics and how social media drives public opinion, with an outside‑the‑box, brainstorm‑friendly mindset.
High EQ: Possesses high emotional intelligence and great judgment, handling last‑minute client requests with ease and knowing when to act or seek senior counsel.
A Meticulous Storyteller: Strong writer—persuasive, concise, and creative, able to translate complex policy or corporate challenges into compelling narratives.
Entrepreneurial & Agile: Curious, proactive, and driven to improve processes, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
Exceptionally Organized: Manages multiple projects with shifting priorities, taking accountability for precision in account management.
$77,500 - $88,000 a year
