Windows Endpoint Architect

As a Windows Endpoint Architect, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, performing options analysis, ensuring quality/alignment of designs, and you will demonstrate and apply knowledge of enterprise endpoint architecture and standards. You will also be responsible for the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology endpoint architecture and the components required to support endpoints. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing a modern desktop management strategy. You will be focused designing and engineering solutions to integrate non-integrated business partners into our Managed environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, configure, build Microsoft Endpoint Manager solutions to support the desktop environment, including SCCM, Intune, Cloud-attached Management, Desktop Analytics, App management, software updates and Device Compliance
Facilitate the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
Reviews, advises and designs solutions, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact to Clinical/Medical office technology solutions.
Architects solutions to streamline device management and endpoint integration from acquired entities into corporate managed solutions
Developing Windows Images and Deployments to a multi-vendor environment
Integrate new hardware and drivers into a Windows Image
Integrate new peripherals, supporting drivers and software, including but not limited to printers and medical equipment
Required Qualifications:
5 or more years Architecting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including: architectural design and implementation; and endpoint configuration and management
5+ years Integrating, certifying, and maintaining Windows based Hardware Models with MEM (MECM & Intune)
5+ years Creating Windows Images and deploying to multi-vendor OEM environment with MECM
Experience developing solutions for a Medical/Care Delivery setting, supporting medical equipment and other peripherals that are connected to managed and unmanaged endpoints
Strong experience with Windows scripting and/or coding, i.e. vbscript, PowerShell, C#,.net, python, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Defender ATP
Microsoft certifications for endpoint management
Experience managing Symantec Management Platform (Altiris)
Experience supporting endpoints in a Medical/Clinical setting
Active Directory/Azure AD/Group Policy/Intune configuration policies/Conditional Access Policies
