Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a User Experience (UX) Architect - Expert to join their team. As a User Experience (UX) Architect - Expert, you will be part of the Design and User Experience department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a user-centered mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Austin, TX (Candidates need to be local to Austin) hybrid 4 days a week

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop user-centered experiences for advisor services platforms, primarily desktop and responsive mobile interfaces.
  • Lead collaborative design sessions including sketching, ideation, and visual storytelling to foster innovative solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and engaging design solutions.
  • Facilitate design reviews, drive decision-making processes, and ensure alignment with established design systems and patterns.
  • Maintain high standards of quality through rigorous QA, research support, and continuous process improvements.

What's Needed?

  • Expertise in foundational UX principles and best practices.
  • Experience executing high-fidelity design documentation and project tracking using tools like Confluence and Jira.
  • Proven ability to visualize ideas through sketches, wireframes, diagrams, or prototypes.
  • Strong communication skills to manage expectations, prioritize activities, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to user-centered design, empathy, curiosity, and continuous learning in design theory and tools.
