Reporting to the Sr Director of Strategic Alliances Commercialization, this individual contributor is responsible for supporting commercial execution and strategy between Medtronic and our Strategic Alliance partners, with an eye to growth opportunities. A successful candidate will support developing, driving and executing on partnership initiatives, including product launches, regional initiatives, partner promotions, and programs that differentiate our brand, position, and messaging. This role will help provide solutions to support customer needs and business growth by leading and executing on effective plans and programs, both strategic and tactical, to increase market share gains and penetration of our technology.
The candidate will be expected to independently develop and implement programs and initiatives aligned to the strategy, requiring high cross‑functional interaction and leadership capability, and alignment towards identified strategic partners and mutual benefits.
Strategy Development and Execution

Support and drive the Strategic Alliances commercial strategy, aligned with overall Class of Trade strategies across business and regions
Develop key commercial market strategies – pricing, competitive, launch, branding, and regional campaigns
Communicate the commercial strategy clearly and concisely across the organization
Ensure proper segmentation of target audience and unique value proposition resonates with customer segments
Support key product launches with OEM partners to increase utilization of ACM technologies
Create programs to develop markets or gain share, providing clear guidance, prescriptive actions, and tracking to expected outputs
Support regional counterparts in implementing programs and driving key activities in top customers, target customers, or growth areas
Use strategic thinking to analyze decisions using internal and external data, formulating problems, facilitating meetings, collecting data, developing models, implementing and presenting to senior leadership
Partner with sales leadership and sales training to ensure teams are properly trained and equipped to execute programs
Communicate regularly with regional marketing and field sales force regarding programs and initiatives
Provide timely communications to Regional teams on best practices, implementation strategies, and tactics to increase market penetration
Analyze and report to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners on market trends, share in key regions, and strategies to gain share
Identify and propose solutions to gaps in our approach, lead efforts to secure customer/partner loyalty
Create content to promote awareness and support key strategies, including co‑branded opportunities; collaborate with digital marketing on campaign execution and website development
New Product Introduction

Develop product launch methodology within ACM for new launches, mainly within OEM partner integrations
Create messaging and creative, manage agency, and recommend total portfolio road‑mapping and obsolescence strategies
Training

Partner with Global Sales Training department to develop and implement sales training curriculum and content for Strategic Alliance partners and Regional teams
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
Nice to Have

Experience within the Monitoring industry
Experience in strategic partnerships
Strategic agility and structured thinking, intellectual curiosity; ability to convert detailed data analyses into succinct insight
Ability to achieve results by working cross‑functionally and collaboratively across matrix organization, including scoping and managing projects with cross‑business unit teams
Self‑starter, comfortable taking initiative and leading/project managing multiple projects
Strong project management skills and tangible experience achieving results
Basic knowledge of various business functions within a large organization (Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Sales, Marketing)
Working understanding of financial documents – income statements, budgeting, financial decision‑making methods
Excellent communication skills

Benefits & Compensation

Salary ranges for U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) locations: $133,600.00 – $200,400.00. The position is eligible for a short‑term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range applies across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information applies only to candidates hired within the United States.
