Position
Manager, Experiences (Entertainment) , Los Angeles

We’re looking for a strong operator with a sharp point of view on entertainment audiences to build and execute our entertainment events strategy from the ground up.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of experiential activations across entertainment properties and pop culture tentpoles

Develop activation strategies that authentically connect Fanatics Collectibles with entertainment fandoms and drive collector engagement

Manage relationships with entertainment property partners to secure optimal brand positioning and activation opportunities

Collaborate with creative and production agencies to develop compelling, on-brand experiences

Oversee event budgets including forecasting, vendor negotiation, and budget reconciliation

Coordinate cross-functionally with product, content, and commerce teams to align activations with product launches and marketing campaigns

Manage activation timelines, production schedules, and vendor deliverables to ensure flawless execution

Lead on-site operations during activations, managing staff, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring brand standards are maintained

Develop post-event recaps with insights, performance metrics, and recommendations for future activations

Stay current on entertainment industry trends, pop culture moments, and emerging properties relevant to collectibles audience

Support Director, Experiences with strategic planning, capacity management, and cross-portfolio initiatives

What You Will Bring

5-7 years' experience in event planning/production at entertainment properties, leading consumer brand, or successful creative marketing agency

Demonstrated experience executing activations at major entertainment events and fan conventions

Strong understanding of entertainment fandom culture and ability to create authentic, engaging brand experiences

Proven track record managing external creative agencies and production vendors; ability to drive quality output while managing budgets

Effective budget management across multiple concurrent activations

Excellent project management skills with ability to manage complex timelines, multiple stakeholders, and shifting priorities

Experience with on-site event operations including staff management, vendor coordination, and issue resolution

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; comfortable working with product, content, commerce, and creative teams

Exceptional communication skills with ability to present concepts and updates to leadership

Solution-focused attitude with ability to think creatively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances

Passionate about entertainment, pop culture, and the intersection of fandom with collectibles

Willingness to travel for events, site visits, and partner meetings

Compensation
Los Angeles Salary Range: $98,900–$123,050 USD (base pay only)
