Senior Control Engineer

Job Title- Senior Control Engineer
Location- Torrance CA USA 90504
Pay Range - $70- $75/hour on W2 (depending on experience)
MUST be US Citizen (because of government project)
Hybrid (depends on project(s) supporting; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development with a focus on data acquisition and test or process control systems.
Experience in PLC programming with emphasis on Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff PLCs.
Strong programming skills in LabVIEW or equivalent; familiarity with additional languages is a plus.
Experience integrating test instruments into control systems, such as power analyzers, power supplies, pressure scanners, temperature scanners, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and actuators.

Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
