FT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REP

River Point Behavioral Health, Jacksonville, FL, United States


Responsibilities

Marketing and promotion of River Point’s programs and services; maximize referral potentials from assigned referral accounts; develop new business to achieve the goals of the Strategic Marketing Plan. Territory includes the Greater Jacksonville, FL area and possibly other Northern Florida locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health Area, Marketing, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development, healthcare marketing and sales, contract management with measurable results, pharmaceutical/medical sales, and a basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles; licensed social worker or RN is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Excellent telephone and people skills, and good negotiation skills. Able to develop and maintain referral resources and educate them about services provided within River Point.

Ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables with limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Able to motivate and communicate well with people in crisis and overcome objections/denial. Able to communicate effectively and diplomatically with other departments and clients.

Special Qualification: Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past three years.
