Overview
Join the Global Marketing team at a leading Financial & Media Company as a Brand Strategist. This role will act as a senior strategist responsible for translating brand positioning into cohesive, global marketing frameworks across financial solutions. While this role intersects with go-to-market planning, the primary focus is on enterprise brand strategy, narrative development, and marketing system design. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with deep brand strategy experience who can connect narrative, audience, and campaign architecture into a unified, scalable approach.
Compensation & Engagement
This is a full‑time contract role (maternity leave coverage) with potential for extension. Pay rate is $70 per hour.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the enterprise brand narrative, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and global marketing initiatives.
Translate brand positioning into clear, scalable marketing frameworks that guide campaign development and execution across regions and teams.
Develop and maintain a cohesive narrative ecosystem across financial solutions, ensuring consistency in messaging and storytelling.
Establish campaign architecture and messaging hierarchies that align brand, audience strategy, and business objectives.
Ensure product‑level campaigns ladder into a unified enterprise narrative that builds long‑term brand equity.
Bring a brand‑first perspective to marketing planning, shaping sequencing, prioritization, and audience alignment.
Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Creative, Digital, Product Marketing, and Business teams to ensure alignment across all initiatives.
Lead strategic initiatives from insight development through execution and performance measurement.
Advise senior leadership on marketing strategy, investment prioritization, and opportunities to improve efficiency and impact.
Help modernize marketing frameworks, taxonomy, and operating models to support global scale and consistency.
Required Qualifications
Experience in brand strategy, integrated marketing strategy, or enterprise marketing leadership roles.
Strong background in brand strategy with the ability to translate narrative into scalable marketing systems.
Experience working across complex, matrixed global organizations with multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to connect audience strategy, messaging, and campaign frameworks into a cohesive ecosystem.
Experience developing large‑scale, integrated marketing initiatives tied to business and commercial outcomes.
Strong executive presence with the ability to present strategic frameworks to senior leadership.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within financial services, fintech, media, or technology sectors.
Background spanning both agency and in‑house environments.
Experience leading enterprise‑level brand transformations or narrative development initiatives.
Experience aligning brand strategy directly with revenue or commercial priorities.
Familiarity with global marketing operations and modernizing legacy marketing frameworks.
