Hearts & Science is a data‑driven marketing agency that informs brand strategies with real‑time insights. Our Business Analytics team works closely with planning and investment teams to exceed clients’ business goals.

External Facing Responsibilities

  • Set vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver cutting‑edge marketing sciences solutions for clients.
  • Define and execute the data strategy, uncovering data needs and opportunities and developing a roadmap for value from first, second, and third‑party data.
  • Develop client relationships by providing strategic advisory on how data and analytics unlock opportunities.
  • Encourage creative data use to solve client business challenges and support growth, in close alignment with Planning and Investment teams.
  • Provide thought leadership around analytics, research, measurement, and ad‑technology concepts and methods.
  • Develop best‑in‑class audience solutions in collaboration with Planning and Investment teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client leads and senior clients, consulting on audience strategy, measurement, and advanced analytics.
  • Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and ongoing budget/plan optimization.
  • Share POVs regarding industry changes in data and analytics (e.g., future of measurement, clean rooms, attention measurement).
  • Investigate the impact of new data sources and technologies on marketing and the industries we serve.
  • Lead and mentor direct reports, assessing capabilities, providing a roadmap for career growth, and setting goals to build and expand skills.

Internal Facing Responsibilities

  • Provide methodological support, coaching, training, and advice to direct reports and broader teams.
  • Recruit new talent.
  • Lead the development of playbooks for audience and measurement activities to standardize delivery of high‑quality marketing sciences services.
  • Build the pipeline and be responsible for the revenue goals of Marketing Sciences.
  • Help grow Marketing Sciences offerings by contributing POVs and exchanging knowledge with colleagues at Annalect and the broader OMG network.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends by conducting research, engaging in training, and attending events.

Required Skills

  • Industry knowledge in marketing analytics and data (first and third‑party solutions, data lakes, clean rooms, aggregated and user‑level data).
  • Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and ROI development.
  • Expertise in audience‑based marketing and data‑driven advertising.
  • Analytic skills and critical thinking to solve strategic and operational issues related to data and analytics.
  • Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience.
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills, able to translate unstructured business solutions into innovative marketing programs.
  • Ability to train and coach colleagues, prioritizing work, business writing, analysis, and project management.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations.
  • Passion for driving change by adopting emerging technologies in advertising.

Education and Experience

  • A university degree and 13+ years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing, or digital consulting.
  • Knowledge of agency‑side media campaign planning and execution is desirable but not required.

Compensation

Pay range: $150,000—$250,000 USD.

Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in‑office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs, and may be adjusted over time.
