The Key Account Specialist will deliver a high-level of service to Ball’s Key Account portfolio, ensuring customers receive product knowledge, efficient order entry, meticulous detail, and comprehensive order analytics. The role focuses on executing business procedures accurately while identifying innovative solutions to enhance customer experience, drive sales, and increase profitability.

Job Responsibilities And Duties
All aspects of customer ordering from initial order entry through to delivery tracking, taking ownership of orders associated with Key accounts beyond order entry.
Understanding the full process of finalizing the complete sale, including delivery of orders.
Analyzing historical and current customer ordering data.
Being self-reliant with data and analytics.
Compiling sales and forecast reports when needed.
Working with customers to confirm rebooking of orders and identify any changes in programs.
Organizing and prioritizing actionable tasks and communication.
Providing fast-paced solutions to customer issues and concerns.
Supporting Key accounts with options and real-time solutions for order issues.
Conducting weekly calls with customers.
Collaborating with breeding companies, IT, supply chain, and sales management.
Communicating with customers, all departments within Ball Seed, and all business units within Ball Horticultural Company.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidence in customer interactions, including product sourcing and supply chain knowledge to grow sales.
Communicating forecast, program changes, and timing of new/existing programs to supply chain.
Requirements
2‑3 years of customer service, marketing or inside sales experience.
Associate degree or equivalent in business, marketing, sales and/or horticulture viewed favorably.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC skills.
Self-motivated for continuous learning.
Experience in a broker industry where products are drop-shipped from third‑party suppliers is preferred.
High-level computer skills for advanced SAP functions and transactions desirable.
Knowledge of the global horticulture business model, including product development, manufacturing, quality control, sales and distribution of seeds, young plants or related industries.
Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordingly with strong attention to detail.
Maintain positive professional relationships with customers, team members, and supporting personnel.
Ability to learn and understand complex business processes, roles, responsibilities, and dependencies.
Keenness to identify and resolve related problems.
Pay Range: $23‑$27 per hour
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit/stand 100% of the day.
Ability to use hands/fingers 100% of the day.
Ability to lift/carry/move 5 pounds less than 5% of the day.
