REPORTS TO: FLIGHT OPERATIONS MANAGER

CLASSIFICATION: 1099

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required

CLEARANCE TYPE: ACTIVE SECRET

CONUS RATE: $40/HR

OCONUS RATE: $600/DAILY

Job Summary
Under Indirect Supervision, responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all aircraft and related equipment. Responsible for monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and integration of sensor systems per specifications and operational procedures within Client technical facilities.

Duties / Responsibilities

Unmanned aviation ground handling

UAV Launch and recovery

Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems and subsystems

Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft structures

Remedy emergency situations as they arise

Ensure standards are implemented and upheld in everyday activities

Maintain equipment used to support aircraft mission efforts

Analyze and interpret equipment log reports

Diagnose and resolve operational problems

Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required

Basic Requirements for Level II

Valid driver's license

2-5 years of relevant experience

Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for aircraft systems/subsystems, and ground support equipment

Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components

Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques

Familiar with military aviation operations

Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required

Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance

May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift

Basic Requirements for Level III

Valid driver's license

5+ years of relevant experience

Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance for aircraft systems/subsystems, and ground support equipment

Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components

Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques

Familiar with military aviation operations

Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required

Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance

Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance

May be required to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift

Preferred Requirements

Military flight experience is highly desirable

Experience in deployed UAS ISR operations

Composite, structural, and mechanical repair experience

Ability to read electrical schematic and/or control diagrams, and read blueprints

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation, including, but not limited to, perceiving differences in wire cable colors, moving and/or lifting items such as ladders, tools, air tanks, test equipment and other objects weighing up to 100 pounds, working aloft; climbing ladders

Must be able to obtain a DOT physical
