Responsibilities

Cover major business stories and trends in the region with an emphasis on healthcare, technology, tourism, and regional economic development.

Write a weekly column on local retail and food businesses that are opening, expanding, or closing.

Work occasional night and weekend shifts as needed.

Shoot and edit photos and video using a smartphone.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle, with the ability to drive to assignments.

Strong writing and storytelling skills.

Experience with digital journalism and social media preferred.
