direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand specializing in high-performance sunglasses designed for first responders , including firefighters, police officers, and EMS professionals.

Their mission is to create durable gear that supports the demanding environments first responders face while giving back to the community. A portion of every sale supports organizations that assist the families of fallen first responders.

The company is growing its digital marketing efforts and is focused on scaling profitable ecommerce growth through high-performing paid advertising and strong creative strategy.

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a

Digital Marketing Manager

with strong experience in

DTC ecommerce advertising and creative strategy , particularly within the

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising ecosystem .

This role will be responsible for researching advertising opportunities, developing campaign strategies, creating structured creative briefs, launching campaigns, and continuously optimizing performance.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the CEO and design team to develop advertising concepts, oversee creative production, and manage campaign execution. Initially, major strategic decisions will be reviewed with leadership, with increasing autonomy provided as performance and strategic judgment are demonstrated.

Responsibilities

Advertising Research & Strategy
Conduct market and audience research to identify customer pain points and messaging opportunities
Analyze competitor advertising using tools such as

Meta Ads Library
Study high-performing DTC advertising accounts to identify successful creative strategies
Creative Brief Development
Translate campaign ideas into

structured creative briefs

for designers and video editors
Clearly communicate messaging angles, hooks, and visual direction
Review and provide feedback on creative assets throughout production
Ad Copywriting
Write high-converting

ad copy tailored for Meta's advertising platform
Align messaging with the creative concept and target audience pain points
Campaign Launch & Management
Launch and manage campaigns in

Meta Ads Manager
Structure campaigns, audiences, budgets, and testing frameworks
Monitor performance and make adjustments to optimize results
Performance Optimization
Test new creative concepts, audiences, and campaign structures
Identify winning creatives and scale successful campaigns
Optimize campaigns for

profitable growth and contribution margin
Reporting & Insights
Prepare weekly performance reports summarizing:
Campaign performance
Winning creatives
Testing insights
Optimization opportunities
Strategic recommendations

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies

Required

Fluent English communication (written and verbal)
3+ years of experience managing digital advertising for DTC ecommerce brands

(5+ years preferred)
Deep expertise with

Meta Ads Manager

and full campaign lifecycle management
Experience managing

$50K-$100K+ monthly advertising budgets
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
Experience conducting

competitive ad research
Ability to develop structured advertising briefs and campaign plans
Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
Preferred
Experience with

video editing or graphic design
Knowledge of

SEO, CRO, or landing page optimization
Experience with

Google Ads
Familiarity with

UGC creator sourcing and influencer collaborations
Experience with advertising tools such as

Motion or Foreplay
Experience with

social media engagement strategies
