Event Promoter

Position

Event Promoter – Orange County. Shugarman’s Bath is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Event Promoter to represent our company at events such as home shows, farmers markets, fairs, and retail locations. As the face of our brand, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, proactively approaching individuals walking by the booth, initiating conversations, and building rapport to spark interest in our bathtub and shower replacement services.
What You’ll Do

Book appointments for customers to meet with our design team.
Approach individuals walking by the booth, initiate friendly conversations, and build trust and rapport to spark interest in our products and services.
Engage with attendees and customers at our company booths throughout events and home shows in Orange County – this is not a desk or office‑based position.
Answer any questions about our bath remodel process – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Safely transport event materials to and from event locations.
Set up and present the display at event locations, ensuring it’s appealing and professional.
Compensation

Hourly Rate:

$20 per hour
Uncapped commissions – the more you book, the more you earn!
Bonus Opportunities: Earn a bonus for each appointment you book that results in an in‑home demonstration by our design consultant.

$100 per appointment booked at non‑industry events and $50 per appointment booked at industry events.
With bonuses, team members average $40–$50 per hour.
Mileage Reimbursement: Available.
401(k): Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) after 90 days.
Schedule & Employment Type

Part‑time, paid bi‑monthly.
Schedule varies, typically 6‑hour shifts, weekends as needed, up to 20 hrs/week.
Work part‑time while earning like a full‑time employee – and even more!
Weekend availability required.
Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
Must have own transportation.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
Comfortable speaking with customers face‑to‑face.
Committed to providing the highest level of customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Punctual, reliable, with a desire to learn and grow with a growing business.
Reliable transportation and can drive to home shows/events.
Looking to work outdoors and indoors, such as fairgrounds, home expos, and various locations.
Physical Demands

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds (e.g., moving event materials or helping with event setup).
Pre‑employment background check, drug screening, and driving record check will be required.
