Job Description:
Senior PR professional driving national media placements and managing high-visibility, evolving public affairs narratives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Pitch and secure placements in Tier 1 national media outlets (print, digital, broadcast)
Build and leverage relationships with national journalists and editors
Manage ongoing, evolving narratives (crisis-style communications)
Collaborate with internal PR team members on strategy and execution
Develop PR strategies to elevate national visibility
Create and maintain editorial calendars aligned to campaign goals
Execute day-to-day outreach and media engagement efforts
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

Proven success securing placements in Tier 1 national media
Strong existing relationships with national journalists and outlets
Experience in hard news, public affairs, or crisis communications
Ability to both execute and contribute to PR strategy
Demonstrated success managing evolving, time-sensitive storylines

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience developing editorial calendars and PR frameworks
Background in government, public sector, or regulated industries
Ability to lead strategy while remaining hands-on
Flexibility to support multiple accounts
