As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of agricultural machinery within a designated region. The role involves overseeing existing dealer relationships, optimizing dealer performance, and driving new business opportunities by identifying future dealers and customers as well as driving revenue growth. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with dealers to ensure product availability, support, and training, ensuring the company's agricultural machinery is effectively marketed and sold. This position requires a leader with a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a results-oriented sales culture within the region.
General Responsibilities
Identify and prospect new customers across the designated region, managing all communication and driving the sales process through to contract signature.
Engage with dealers and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring strong order generation and relationship development.
Assess dealer solvency, share pricing information, negotiate terms, and suggest improvements to optimize pricing strategies.
Provide training and ongoing support to dealers, while identifying opportunities for expanding and strengthening the dealer network.
Ensure dealers adhere to company policies, pricing, and branding standards.
Actively participate in industry trade shows, customer demos, and events to increase visibility and drive engagement in the designated region.
Foster collaboration and support within the dealer network to drive sales and enhance product reach.
Create compelling content in collaboration with the marketing team to support campaigns and enhance brand presence.
Frequent travel within designated region with occasional travel outside given region.
